I would like to send thanks to your staff for the courtesy and kindness shown to me when I visited your store to look at rubies for my children. I asked about a tie-tack for my son and a pendant for my daughter in law, for their 40th wedding anniversary. Your designer Darrell was very helpful and kind to me in choosing the right gems and showing me how he could design them to show off their beauty. Impressed with design, patience and expertise
I have been a client of Howard Jewellers since my husband and I became engaged in 2009. My husband, Michael, surprised me with a gorgeous diamond that had belonged to his great grandmother, and off we went to Howard to design a custom ring that would do justice to such a meaningful family heirloom. I must admit that I was a bit overwhelmed, but Howard himself walked us through the process of choosing a style and answered my many questions with patience and expertise. His colleague Darryl was also incredibly helpful, answering questions about white gold versus platinum, and explaining how different band styles would fit differently. When the ring was ready, I was amazed by how beautiful it was: their custom setting was absolutely perfect for my heirloom diamond. When I discovered that the size of my fingers had changed and the ring was a bit loose, Howard's team happily resized it for me to ensure a snug yet comfortable fit -- and at no charge. After being so impressed with Howard's design of my engagement ring, we had them create our wedding bands as well. I still visit Howard Fine Jewellers every 6-8 weeks to have my rings cleaned and inspected to make sure all the stones are still secure. Every single time, I'm greeted with a smile and offered a cappuccino or a glass of water and my rings are ready in just a few minutes. Quite simply, Howard offers the best service of any jeweller in Ottawa.
